Aldi<\/a> shoppers have queued outside local stores for more than an hour to get their hands on a limited-edition Special Buys winter range.<\/p>\n

The German supermarket chain<\/a> launched its Snow Gear Special Buys<\/a> range on May 23, and everything available is under $100.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a huge hit every year, and 2026 didn\u2019t disappoint.<\/p>\n

One Sydney store saw more than 50 eager shoppers<\/a> lined up at 7:30, while footage from another showed people rushing inside the moment the doors opened in the morning.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur Snow Gear Special Buys deliver the full package: functional, fashionable pieces at exceptionally low Aldi prices<\/a>,\u201d Belinda Grice, the group director of Special Buys at Aldi Australia, said.<\/p>\n

“Every item in this year\u2019s range is made for real life, whether that means heading out early for a few runs or dressing the whole family for weekend adventures.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aldi’s Snow Gear sale is a highly anticipated Special Buys event from the supermarket.<\/p>\n

You\u2019d normally have to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars to get a whole outfit for the slopes, but the 50 items available are very affordable.<\/p>\n

Customers can get their hands on children’s items such as $4.99 cabin cozies, $11.99 gloves, $6.99 beanies, $39.99 toddler snow suits, and $29.99 thermoboots.<\/p>\n

For adults, there are $44.99 Ugg boots, $11.99 merino glove liners and a $99.99 premium ski jacket.<\/p>\n

Aldi research revealed that 3.7 million Australians were heading to the slopes in 2026.<\/p>\n

Around 35 per cent of Australians said their family and friends had inspired them to book a snow trip, while 27 per cent said they were influenced by social media, and 25 per cent said it was a bucket list experience.<\/p>\n
