Although the state of health can decline due to aging and many charging cycles, our solution allows fleet operators to keep an eye on the battery condition of their vehicles – a decisive criterion for the everyday suitability and total cost of ownership of a fleet.”

Bosch MC Battery Service Innovations China unit general manager Qian Yang said: “Our service hits a local nerve: We support battery-electric vehicles in the fleet business. This holistic approach accelerates the electrification of fleets and optimizes the entire battery lifecycle. The combined expertise of Mitsubishi and Bosch is a perfect match for our customers.”

In addition to charging and battery swapping, Bosch said the data generated by the system can help expand aftermarket offerings, including connected insurance, vehicle maintenance, and battery servicing.

Bosch and Mitsubishi have been developing the battery-service business together since 2019, and the companies said earlier pilot operations had already delivered encouraging results.

“Bosch, Mitsubishi win first China customer for battery service venture ” was originally created and published by Just Auto, a GlobalData owned brand.

The information on this site has been included in good faith for general informational purposes only.
