The agency has struggled to cover its immense operating costs and obligations amid declining mail volumes.<\/p>\n<p>Postmaster General <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ttnews.com\/articles\/post-office-david-steiner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">David Steiner<\/a> said the arrangement is expected to be worth at least $10 billion for the postal service.\n      \t\t<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe fully expect that there\u2019ll be much more than that over the term of the contract,\u201d he said during a briefing with reporters.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While DHL\u2019s e-commerce unit and USPS have worked together for about 25 years, the new agreement marks their first multiyear contract, said Scott Ashbaugh, CEO of DHL eCommerce Americas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"photo-credit\">DHL\u2019s e-commerce unit and USPS have worked together for about 25 years.
