For many workers in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, the Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory, it might be a day to kick back and relax.<\/p>\n

For others, it\u2019s the perfect opportunity to get organised for the upcoming week.<\/p>\n

If that includes a quick trip out to the shops<\/a>, here\u2019s exactly what\u2019s open so you can take advantage.<\/p>\n

If you’re planning a grocery shop on Monday, it’ll pay to know what’s open.<\/p>\n

Aldi<\/p>\n

Aldi shoppers are advised to check in with their local store as trading hours will vary widely around the country.<\/p>\n

In New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory, all stores will be open.<\/p>\n

In Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia, it\u2019ll depend on the store.<\/p>\n

Coles<\/p>\n

NSW, VIC, TAS, ACT<\/p>\n

All stores are open.<\/p>\n

NT<\/p>\n

All stores open with reduced trading hours.<\/p>\n

SA<\/p>\n

All stores closed except Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Berri, Port Augusta, Mount Barker, Adelaide Rundle Place, Whyalla, Murray Bridge Green, Mount Gambier and Victor Harbor.<\/p>\n

Across Australia, most Kmart stores will trade as normal, with extended trading hours in many metro locations and a mix of reduced hours in regional areas.<\/p>\n

In Queensland, NSW, Victoria, Western Australia, the ACT and Tasmania, the majority of stores will remain open.<\/p>\n

That includes several 24-hour locations such as Figtree, Casula, Penrith, Mt Druitt, Blacktown, Sylvania, Belmont and Campbellfield.<\/p>\n

Most metropolitan stores will operate standard holiday hours, generally between 8am and 9pm, while some regional stores will close earlier.<\/p>\n

In South Australia, trading is significantly more limited, with many stores closed for the day.<\/p>\n

Only select locations, including Rundle Mall (11am\u20135pm), Mt Barker, Port Lincoln, Port Pirie and Whyalla, will open with reduced hours.<\/p>\n

Shoppers are advised to check in with their local store.<\/p>\n

Overall, Kmart’s trading hours vary widely by location.<\/p>\n

Target<\/p>\n

Across states observing the King\u2019s Birthday public holiday, most Target stores in Victoria, NSW, Queensland, WA, ACT and Tasmania will be open, trading on varied reduced or extended hours.<\/p>\n

In South Australia, all listed stores will be closed, including major locations such as Tea Tree Plaza, Marion, West Lakes, Elizabeth, Newton and Unley.<\/p>\n
