\"\"\/Siemens has appointed Markus Grabmeier<\/a> as Chief Executive Officer of its Electrical Products business<\/a> unit within the company\u2019s Smart Infrastructure division<\/a>, succeeding Andreas Matth\u00e9, who is retiring after leading the business for 15 years.<\/p>\n

Grabmeier returns to Siemens after serving as a member of the executive management committee at Alfanar in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He brings extensive experience in the electrical products sector and a deep understanding of Siemens\u2019 operations, having previously spent nearly 14 years with the company in a range of leadership roles.<\/p>\n

During his earlier tenure at Siemens, Grabmeier served as head of global manufacturing and later as Executive Vice President responsible for China and East Asia within the Electrical Products division. His experience spans manufacturing, regional business leadership and operational strategy across key international markets.<\/p>\n

In his new role, Grabmeier will oversee a global business employing approximately 26,000 people across 25 production sites. The Electrical Products unit develops and manufactures low-voltage products and software systems used for electrical power distribution, monitoring and circuit protection.<\/p>\n

He succeeds Andreas Matth\u00e9, a 40-year Siemens veteran who has led the business unit since 2011. Matth\u00e9 will continue to support the company in an advisory capacity during a short transition period.<\/p>\n

Grabmeier takes charge at a time when the Electrical Products business is focusing on innovation and growth opportunities linked to digitalisation, data centres and the energy transition. The division has recently advanced the integration of semiconductor technology into electrical circuits to enhance switching performance, improve energy efficiency and support more sustainable infrastructure solutions.\n <\/p>\n
