\"\"\/Siemens Healthineers<\/a> has expanded the leadership responsibilities of Carolin Franz<\/a>, who will now oversee Human Resources<\/a> across Asia Pacific Japan (APJ<\/a>) and China in addition to her current role as Head of Human Resources for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Announcing the development, Franz said she was honoured to broaden her remit and support the organisation\u2019s people strategy across some of its most important global regions. In her expanded role, she will oversee HR operations and workforce strategy for approximately 52,000 employees across 63 countries, while leading a team of 470 HR professionals.<\/p>\n

Franz has been associated with Siemens Healthineers for more than a decade and has held a series of senior HR leadership<\/a> positions spanning workforce transformation, talent management, organisational design and business partnering. Most recently, as SVP, Head of Human Resources EMEA, she led HR initiatives across a diverse regional workforce and served as a strategic advisor to business leaders on talent and organisational priorities.<\/p>\n

Earlier, she took on the additional role of Global HR Transformation Program Lead, Human-Centric Collaboration, where she led initiatives focused on hybrid work, employee flexibility, leadership effectiveness and workplace transformation. She also served as SVP, Global HR Business Partner \u2013 Advanced Therapies, supporting one of the company\u2019s global business areas and driving HR strategies across international markets.<\/p>\n

Franz additionally played a key role in Siemens Healthineers\u2019 integration of Varian, serving as Global Head of HR Integration and leading efforts related to talent retention, culture alignment, organisational design and post-merger workforce integration.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining the company\u2019s senior HR leadership team, she held several HR business partner roles across Siemens businesses and completed international assignments in the United States and the United Kingdom, building extensive experience in global workforce management<\/a> and transformation.\n <\/p>\n
