Aldi<\/a> has brought back its wildly-popular cast iron cookware range, with prices starting from just $4.99.<\/p>\n

Crofton’s ceramic and cast-iron cookware, available in blue, white and green, dropped down the middle-aisle Special Buys on Wednesday, June 3.<\/p>\n

The supermarket giant’s Crofton range has often been compared to the cast-iron pots of the expensive French brand Le Creuset, which typically retail for $440.<\/p>\n

To compare, Aldi’s cast iron dutch oven costs a mere $23.99 and the French cast iron fry pan costs $34.99.<\/p>\n

Other products in the range include a 26cm oven roaster ($39.99), a saucepan ($19.99), a bread oven ($39.99), mini ceramic dishes ($4.99) and more.<\/p>\n

It didn’t take long for customers to notice the products in store and spread the word.<\/p>\n

Alex Hourigan, co-host of the podcast Two Broke Chicks, bought every item from her local Aldi.<\/p>\n

“Do yourself a favour and run to Aldi because they have just dropped the winter cookware collection,” she said in a video.<\/p>\n

“It is so well priced, I bought all of this for under $250, which I think is pretty damn good.”<\/p>\n

Due to the popularity among shoppers, the limited-edition range is expected to fly off of shelves like in previous years.<\/p>\n

In the comments, other shoppers who have previously bought the cookware had nothing but positive things to say about the products.<\/p>\n

“Bought this three years ago from Aldi and it’s still amazing. Definitely worth buying!!” one wrote.<\/p>\n

“I got some of the cast iron from Aldi in red years ago. They are brilliant. Go quickly, they disappear fast,” another said.<\/p>\n

“They are amazing! They did the same sale last year and I still have mine. Best purchase ever,” a third added.<\/p>\n
