Julian St. in San Jose, would replace a house and an office that now occupy the property, the planning files show.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" lazyautosizes lazyload\" alt=\"Apartment complex at 945 West Julian Street in San Jose, two-image concept.(LPMD Architects)\" width=\"972\" data- src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/SJM-L-SJJULIANAPTS-02-1.jpg\" \/>Apartment complex at 945 West Julian Street in San Jose, two-image concept.\u00a0(LPMD Architects)<\/p>\n<p>The development would produce 136 apartments at the corner of Julian and Morrison Avenue, in the city\u2019s Garden-Alameda neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>A group of individuals headed up by a person identified as Anthony Ho is leading the development efforts, the planning documents show.<\/p>\n<p>This section of San Jose has produced at least <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/2024\/01\/23\/san-jose-house-home-apartment-real-estate-build-buy-economy-develop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">one large residential project<\/a> in recent years, the 249-unit Diridon West apartment building at the corner of Stockton Avenue and Julian Street.<\/p>\n<p>The project plans for the eight-story apartment building suggest the developers aim to use provisions of SB 330 that are designed to expedite the city\u2019s review process.<\/p>\n<p>The housing development would consist of 28 studios, each 360 square feet; 54 one-bedroom apartments, each 490 square feet; and 54 two-bedroom units, each 730 square feet.<\/p>\n<p>The proposal is preliminary, which means the ultimate vision for the project could be different than what is being floated at present.
