Rolls-Royce Power Systems has secured a contract to supply 200 new mtu PowerPacks for the German Armed Forces\u2019 Puma infantry fighting vehicle fleet. The 10-cylinder propulsion system will allow the vehicle to reach speeds of up to 70 km\/h and a range of 600 kilometers.<\/p>\n
Each PowerPack includes enhanced cooling systems, updated power electronics, and a 10V 890 engine delivering more than 1,000 horsepower.
