The German soccer fan has been thrilling the internet with his escapades in northern Georgia. His recent X posts<\/a> document his experiences in Atlanta and Georgia at large, ranging from his first look at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to his opinions on local fast food. <\/p>\n Touching down in Atlanta on Friday, Freddy first checked out the stadium, which is currently being called the Atlanta Stadium due to FIFA branding rules. <\/p>\n His response?<\/a> \u201cWhat a f****** stadium.\u201d <\/p>\n Freddy then took a drive through the area, saying, \u201cAtlanta is so green it\u2019s crazy. It feels like you\u2019re in a forest the whole time.\u201d <\/p>\n Commenters were quick to point out what Freddy didn\u2019t know: That Atlanta\u2019s nickname is \u201cthe city in the forest.\u201d <\/p>\n Next came a tour of Stranger Things filming locations and a visit to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park before venturing out to the top of Stone Mountain. Freddy also scoped out Helen, which made him feel \u201cright at home,\u201d and tubed down the Chattahoochee River. <\/p>\n But perhaps what the internet has enjoyed most is Freddy\u2019s reaction to American food. He dubbed Taco Bell \u201cthe holy land<\/a>\u201d and even ate at Waffle House at 1 a.m. <\/p>\n Just had our first Waffle House experience at 1am.
