\n\tAdidas<\/a> is officially welcoming WNBA<\/a> star Kelsey Plum<\/a> to its expanding roster of women\u2019s basketball athletes.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Los Angeles Sparks guard is a two-time WNBA<\/a> champion, two-time Olympic gold medalist and four-time WNBA<\/a> All-Star. She joins the athletic brand\u2019s women\u2019s basketball lineup, including Candace Parker, Aliyah Boston and Satou Sabally.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m so excited to be joining the Adidas<\/a> Basketball family,\u201d\u00a0said\u00a0Plum in a statement.\u00a0\u201cThere\u2019s no better brand to partner with to authentically express myself on and off the court. Their commitment to basketball is unwavering and I\u2019m looking forward to this new chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThrough the partnership, Adidas will support Plum on and off the court. For the 2026 WNBA season, she will wear the Adidas Crazy Energy sneaker style, which features a ventilated upper and Lightstrike comfort to help support her fast and relentless playing style.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cKelsey brings unique value to the Adidas Basketball family,\u201d\u00a0said Parker, president of Adidas Women\u2019s Basketball, in a statement.\u00a0\u201cShe is a champion, and her interests beyond the court in fashion and culture make her the ideal partner for Adidas. \n\tPlum was previously an ambassador for Under Armour; it was announced in April that her four-year partnership with the brand was over. The athlete has been seeing wearing Adidas sneakers on multiple occasions in recent months, so it was speculated that she was entering into a partnership with the Three Stripes. She had previously parted ways with Nike for Under Armour in 2022.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen Bankz asked Plum when she thought the turning point for women\u2019s basketball was, Plum said, \u201cI think we\u2019re at it. It\u2019s brewing. We have, for the first time ever in professional women\u2019s sports, more eyes than a lot of the men. We\u2019re in a spot where we can finally change those rules, those guidelines to benefit not just our generation, but the next.
