The project, known as Untermunkheim, is situated across three separate sites and was obtained from the German firm Stromernte. Stromernte will continue its involvement by providing development services under an agreement.<\/p>\n<p>The solar installation has the potential to be paired with a battery energy storage system with a capacity of 160 megawatt-hours. The next phase involves presenting the project to local authorities, with the goal of commencing electricity generation within the next two years. This acquisition marks the first project in southern Germany for Novar and represents the initial merger and acquisition activity conducted by its German subsidiary.<\/p>\n<p>Novar currently operates 1.3 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity and has an objective to reach 4 gigawatts by 2030. In the Netherlands, the company recently brought the 74-megawatt-peak Bellingwolde solar park into operation.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t1.
