The move is aimed at enhancing Accenture\u2019s capabilities in industrial software, automation, data, and AI-driven solutions for manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe acquisition will help Accenture support companies looking to modernize product development, factory operations, and supply chain management through advanced digital technologies.<\/p>\n<p>\tManufacturers across industries are increasingly investing in AI, automation, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.siliconindia.com\/enterprise-services\/ranking\/10-most-promising-pos-software-solution-providers-2024-rid-2371.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">software solutions<\/a> to make operations more efficient and connected. However, integrating these technologies across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain systems remains a challenge for many organizations.<\/p>\n<p>\tCommenting on the acquisition, Tracey Countryman, Global Supply Chain and Engineering Lead at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.siliconindia.com\/news\/general\/accenture-acquires-bengalurubased-excelmax-to-augment-silicon-design-capabilities-nid-230597-cid-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Accenture<\/a>, said, \u201cManufacturers are increasingly investing in software, data and AI to make engineering and factory operations more flexible, intelligent and connected. But many companies struggle to integrate these technologies across their products, factories, plants and supply chains. We will combine IndX\u2019s proven expertise in Siemens technologies with Accenture\u2019s AI capabilities and industry knowledge to solve this challenge for clients faster.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tHeadquartered in Rome and Chicago, IndX specializes in Siemens Digital Industries software solutions for both discrete and process manufacturing sectors. The company helps organizations connect engineering, manufacturing, and automation systems through technologies such as digital twins, product lifecycle management, simulation tools, cloud computing, industrial edge computing, and SCADA systems.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tIndX serves clients across industries including aerospace and defense, automotive, consumer goods, energy, industrial equipment, high technology, life sciences, and utilities. Its team includes more than 650 professionals located across Italy, the United States, India, Germany, Mexico, and several other European markets.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tFollowing the acquisition, IndX\u2019s capabilities will become part of the Accenture Siemens Business Group, a dedicated global practice launched last year to combine Siemens\u2019 industrial technologies with Accenture\u2019s engineering, manufacturing, and AI expertise.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tTony Hemmelgarn, President and CEO of Siemens Digital Industries Software, highlighted the significance of the deal, stating, \u201cAccenture\u2019s acquisition of IndX is a milestone for the Accenture Siemens Business Group. It brings proven skills in our industrial solutions for digital manufacturing, engineering, automation, digital twin and simulation, plus long-standing relationships with clients that apply them\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tVivek Kaushik, Global Lead of the Accenture Siemens Business Group, emphasized the role of industrial AI in accelerating transformation. \u201cTogether with Siemens, we develop industrial AI-enabled solutions that shorten engineering time to market, increase manufacturing efficiencies and strengthen the digital core for our clients. IndX will strengthen the Accenture Siemens Business Group and help deliver on Accenture and Siemens\u2019 shared ambition to scale these AI solutions\u201d,\u00a0he said.<\/p>\n<p>\tAs part of the expansion, Accenture plans to establish two new Centers of Excellence focused on Siemens Digital Industries solutions in Italy and India. These centers will bring together experts in industrial software, AI, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.siliconindia.com\/editors-guest-post\/digital-engineering--a-norm-for-business-wanting-to-stay-afloat-even-during-crisis-nid-226100-cid-82.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">digital engineering<\/a> to help clients improve product design, factory operations, and supply chain performance.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tTeodoro Lio, Market Unit Lead of Accenture Italy, said the initiative will strengthen industrial innovation and create highly specialized jobs while supporting the competitiveness of manufacturers in global markets.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tFinancial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
