International grocery chain Aldi has unveiled the\u00a0Aldi Blind Box<\/a>, giving shoppers the chance to claim one for free for a limited time.<\/p>\n

The grocery store, with a large footprint in Southern California, will give away boxes filled with fan-favorite products, standout staples, and “fresh picks from across every aisle,” the grocer said in a news release.<\/p>\n

When will Aldi’s free Blind Box be available?<\/p>\n

A new Aldi Blind Box will be released each day from Monday, June 22, through Thursday, June 25.\u00a0<\/p>\n

How can I claim a Blind Box?<\/p>\n

At 9 a.m. PST on each of the four days, shoppers can go to .aldiblindbox. com<\/a>\u202fto claim that day’s free themed\u202fbox. The boxes will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis, the company said in a news release, adding that more than 100 boxes will be given away per drop.<\/p>\n

What is a Blind Box?<\/p>\n

Inspired by unboxing trends in fashion, beauty, and collectibles, including toys, Aldi said the box will be packed with items from its grocery aisles. Shoppers will receive a box filled with Aldi products but will only know the box theme before opening it. The company described the effort as “a new way\u202fto turn everyday\u202fgrocery\u202fshopping into something\u202fa little\u202fless predictable.”<\/p>\n

“The ALDI Blind Box taps into the excitement our fans already feel walking our aisles,” Aldi’s Communications Director Bridget Kozlowski said in a news release. “Our shoppers come to ALDI for value, but they also come for discovery. From viral ALDI Finds to tried-and-true products shoppers love to tell their friends about, people love the thrill of discovering something new here.”<\/p>\n

What are the themes of Aldi’s Blind Boxes?\"Aldi<\/p>\n

Aldi is offering free blind boxes from June 22 to June 25, 2026.<\/p>\n

Each day will feature a different Blind Box<\/p>\n

Snack Blind Box:\u00a0Features premium cheeses, dips, crunchy bites and sweets.<\/p>\n

Fiber Blind Box:\u00a0Features produce favorites and better-for-you picks.<\/p>\n

Protein Blind Box:\u00a0Features satisfying staples and surprising finds.<\/p>\n

Mystery Blind Box:\u00a0Features a surprise assortment of ALDI fan favorites and staples.<\/p>\n

Each day’s box will be revealed on Aldi’s Instagram account @aldiusa<\/a>\u202f ahead of the noon drop.<\/p>\n

How do I get my claimed box?<\/p>\n

Shoppers who have claimed one of the Blind Boxes will receive them in the mail.<\/p>\n

How many Aldi locations are in California?<\/p>\n

Currently, Aldi has around 109 stores in California, according to the\u00a0company’s website<\/a>. Most of the stores are in the Los Angeles area, with no stores north of Fresno.<\/p>\n
