OUR SOPHIA FALVO IS IN BERLIN, WHERE GREEN MOUNTAIN POWER IS CURRENTLY REPAIRING MULTIPLE DOWN LINES THAT WERE TAKEN DOWN. I GUESS BY TREES THERE. SOPHIA. RIGHT. THAT\u2019S RIGHT. BRIAN. WE\u2019VE BEEN TRACKING STORM COVERAGE. STORM DAMAGE ACROSS WASHINGTON COUNTY TODAY. LIKE YOU WERE JUST SAYING, GREEN MOUNTAIN POWER CREWS ARE RIGHT BEHIND ME UP IN A BUCKET FIXING AND REPAIRING SOME OF THOSE ELECTRIC WIRES THAT ARE TANGLED IN THE TREES ON CROSS TOWN ROAD IN BERLIN. THERE WAS A SCENE VERY SIMILAR TO THIS OVER ON CHANDLER ROAD IN NORTHFIELD, BUT THAT HAS BEEN CLEARED NOW. IT APPEARS THAT WHATEVER TREE THAT DID COME DOWN HERE EARLIER TODAY HAS NOW BEEN CLEARED. AND THE MAIN FOCUS REALLY IS JUST FIXING UP THESE LINES SO THAT THE PEOPLE IN THE AREA CAN GET THEIR POWER. BECAUSE WE HAVE SPOKEN TO SOME LOCALS AND THE POWER HAS BEEN OUT FOR HOURS IN SOME PARTS OF THE COUNTY AT THIS POINT. BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS TRAFFIC IS RESUMING AT A PRETTY STEADY PACE.
