Roland Busch, CEO of Siemens AG, <a href=\"https:\/\/press.siemens.com\/global\/en\/pressrelease\/siemens-invest-over-eu200-million-build-factory-future-amberg-germany\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a> the project \u201cis a clear commitment to the location\u201d and will not only strengthen Germany\u2019s industrial base but also \u201cenhance competitiveness and create jobs with a future\u201d through \u201cindustrial artificial intelligence, digital twins and state-of-the-art automation\u201d. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The plant will expand capabilities for high-tech electronics manufacturing. Amberg\u2019s current site (\u22484,500 staff) already manufactures industrial controllers, relays and protection devices, and the new facility will produce similar products on a fully digitalized production line. Siemens says this expansion will make operations more efficient, sustainable and flexible \u2013 able to respond more quickly to changing market requirements.<\/p>\n<p>AI and automation design<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inside the future Amberg factory, every stage of production will be guided by an AI-driven digital model. Engineers are already using Siemens\u2019\u00a0Digital Twin Composer\u00a0tool to design and virtually test the plant before it\u2019s built. The Composer ties together all aspects of the factory (machines, conveyors, sensors, and logistics flows) into a unified simulation.
