I don\u2019t know what will happen in the future,\u201d Culbreath said in an interview with Sport Bild, leaving his international future open.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Culbreath has previously represented both the United States and Germany at U16 level, but has since only featured for the latter.<\/p>\n<p>Now a Germany U19 international, the 18-year-old was asked whether he has been in contact with the US federation since his three appearances in friendlies for the U16s in November 2022.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo. I assume the Americans also see that I am currently playing for Germany\u2019s U19s,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Asked what would happen if the US football federation contacted him regarding a potential place in the USMNT World Cup squad, he responded with a laugh:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;m not expecting to be called up for that now.
