A New Jersey-based company has recalled its Aldi-brand kimchi and tofu kimbap\u00a0because it may contain undeclared tuna, a fish allergen.<\/p>\n
The recall was issued July 2 by Gellert Global Group for its ALDI-brand Fusia Asian Inspirations Kimchi & Tofu Kimbap as a precaution because the product may contain undeclared fish. After an investigation, it was discovered that the cause of the issue was due to a temporary breakdown in the company’s production and packaging procedures, according to the Food and Drug Administration’s website.<\/a><\/p>\n Gellert Global Group issued the recall July 2 for its\u00a0Aldi-brand Fusia Asian Inspirations Kimchi & Tofu Kimbap\u00a0because the product may contain undeclared tuna.
