{"id":50043,"date":"2026-07-07T15:11:09","date_gmt":"2026-07-07T15:11:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/50043\/"},"modified":"2026-07-07T15:11:09","modified_gmt":"2026-07-07T15:11:09","slug":"porsche-make-decision-over-formula-e-gen4-customer-outfit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/50043\/","title":{"rendered":"Porsche make decision over Formula E Gen4 customer outfit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Porsche has announced that Cupra Kiro will remain a customer of its powertrain for the start of Formula E&#8217;s Gen4 era.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>The Silverstone-based outfit became a Porsche customer team at the beginning of the Gen3 Evo era last season, albeit using an older version of the German manufacturer&#8217;s powertrain.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>However, for Gen4, Cupra Kiro will use Porsche&#8217;s latest Gen4 package. Cupra Kiro becomes the second customer team to reveal its powertrain supplier for next season.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>It was announced ahead of last weekend&#8217;s Shanghai E-Prix that Envision would remain with Jaguar for Gen4, while Andretti is set to switch from being a Porsche customer team to Nissan.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Cupra Kiro has enjoyed a solid campaign with four rounds remaining, although the results have been mixed across either side of the garage.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Dan Ticktum, who remains without a seat for next season, has been excellent over a single lap in qualifying, reaching the latter stages of the Duels on several occasions.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to the races, however, it is rookie Pepe Mart\u00ed who has delivered the team&#8217;s biggest points hauls and standout performances, claiming podiums in Monaco and Sanya.
