The United Nations had already adopted such a measure, he noted, but added that &#8220;the problem, as with this conflict in general, is how to implement it in practice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Sudan, Africa\u2019s third-largest country, has been gripped by a bloody civil war for three years, triggering what the United Nations describes as the world\u2019s largest humanitarian crisis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">More than 11.6 million people are currently displaced in Sudan and neighbouring countries, while over 19 million face hunger.
