{"id":50882,"date":"2026-07-08T16:10:24","date_gmt":"2026-07-08T16:10:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/50882\/"},"modified":"2026-07-08T16:10:24","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T16:10:24","slug":"cupra-kiro-confirm-porsche-powertrain-deal-extension","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/50882\/","title":{"rendered":"Cupra Kiro confirm Porsche powertrain deal extension"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cupra Kiro has confirmed it will remain a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsportweek.com\/series\/single-seater\/formula-e\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Formula E<\/a>  Porsche powertrain customer heading into the GEN4 era.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cupra Kiro has made a major impact on <a href=\"https:\/\/fiaformulae.com\/en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Formula E<\/a> since its arrival in Season 11, and is one of the more popular teams on the grid. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the smallest teams on the grid, the team has consistently punched well above its weight in terms of results and on-track exploits. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dan Ticktum took a memorable maiden win at Jakarta in 2025, also securing two pole positions during its short tenure in the sport. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Known for its off-track social media exploits as well as its on-track achievements, it has carved out a unique identity within Formula E. <\/p>\n<p>Cupra Kiro \u201cexcited\u201d to continue Porsche relationship <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Team Principal of Kiro Race Co Russell O\u2019Hagan revealed his excitement at continuing the relationship. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAfter the success we have already achieved since working together, we are delighted to confirm the extension of our partnership with Porsche Motorsport for GEN4\u2033 he said in a statement. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGiven it\u2019s been widely anticipated, we appreciate it comes as little surprise, yet the continuation of our collaboration is a hugely important moment for us as a team and business.
