Upon receipt of refunds from U.S. Customs, the amounts will be transferred to the party who paid the customs.If the customer is the IOR \u2013\u00a0you can use the DHL USA service for a fee or submit the application independently through the US customs system:<br \/>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>To apply\u00a0for a refund through DHL USA:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0Please contact DHL USA <a href=\"https:\/\/mydhl.express.dhl\/us\/en\/forms\/ieepa-dhl-to-file.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">using this form<\/a>\u00a0and follow the instructions provided.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The service is chargeable<\/p>\n<p>To apply for a refund independently:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; You must register for the US customs system CAPE, which allows you to submit several shipments at once.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbp.gov\/trade\/automated\/ace-portal-modernization\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">For the system registration guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; In order to submit the application, an Entry Number is required for each shipment.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; It is not possible to submit a request using a bill of lading only.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nIf you do not have the shipment entry numbers, customers with a valid Power of Attorney (POA) on file with DHL may request access to the MyUSEntries platform by contacting:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:MYUSENTRY@dhl.com\">MYUSENTRY@dhl.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/currency_change_rgb_red1.png\" alt=\"currency_change_rgb_red1.png\" height=\"30\" width=\"30\"\/>How is the refund received?<\/p>\n<p>If DHL submits the request,\u00a0make sure that a claim\u00a0number has been\u00a0received by the customer registered in the US.
