You always want to maximise the points, but you also have one eye on your main competition, your direct rivals.

“What happened to Mitch, I feel sorry for him, because that’s not the way you want to gain an advantage over him. But that’s also racing, and nobody is safe from those kinds of things.

“So we have to focus on ourselves. Self-confidence is good, but no one should arrive overconfident. We need to keep our heads down, work hard, and push the limits of our potential in every area.”

Porsche team principal Florian Modlinger has outlined that it is “clear” the outfit must stay grounded in the…

[21181
7662,7665,7663,7666,7664,7661,2167,7658,7660,7659,8406,7657
post-53183","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-porsche","tag-daniel-ricciardo","tag-f1-calendar","tag-f1-live","tag-f1-results","tag-f1-standings","tag-ferrari","tag-formula-1","tag-lewis-hamilton","tag-max-verstappen","tag-motorsport","tag-porsche","tag-racing
["GET
