<\/p>\nTraton Group would commit up to US$25m in R&D funding to accelerate integration of PlusAI’s SuperDrive into its truck brands<\/p>\n
PlusAI has achieved four ISO certifications covering quality (ISO 9001), cybersecurity (ISO\/SAE 21434), functional safety (ISO 26262), and data security (ISO 27001), which the autonomous trucking software developer said validates its operational readiness ahead of a targeted 2027 commercial launch of factory-built autonomous trucks. The certifications strengthen PlusAI\u2019s position as an autonomy partner for Traton Group, Iveco Group, and Hyundai.<\/p>\n
Under an expanded agreement currently subject to a non-binding term sheet, Traton would commit up to US$25m in non-dilutive research and development funding to accelerate factory integration of PlusAI\u2019s SuperDrive platform into autonomous trucks across Traton\u2019s Scania, MAN, and International brands. Traton will also nominate a representative to PlusAI\u2019s initial board of directors in connection with the company\u2019s planned public listing.<\/p>\n

PlusAI said it is on track to commercially launch factory-built autonomous trucks in the Texas Triangle in 2027, followed by expansion into freight corridors in the US Sunbelt states and Europe.<\/p>\n

The company recently announced the first Level 4 autonomous trucking programme in southern Europe with Iveco and Spanish logistics company Ses\u00e9 on the Madrid-Zaragoza corridor. PlusAI is nearing completion of a business combination with Churchill Capital Corp IX, with a shareholder meeting scheduled for 11 February 2026.<\/p>\n
