SAP has elevated Mani Shekhar as head of partner ecosystem success (PES) for SAP India, effective July 1, 2026, as the company strengthens its partner strategy around AI, cloud and enterprise transformation.<\/p>\n
In his new role, Shekhar will lead SAP India’s partner ecosystem strategy, with a focus on accelerating AI-driven transformation, expanding cloud adoption and helping partners deliver stronger business outcomes for customers.<\/p>\n
He will work closely with partners to scale innovation across SAP Business AI, Industry AI and the SAP Autonomous Suite, while enabling them to build AI-first capabilities, co-innovate with customers and deliver enterprise transformation programmes.<\/p>\n
SAP Asia Pacific regional head of Partner Ecosystem Success, Peter Moore said partners are playing an important role as enterprises adopt AI and cloud technologies.<\/p>\n
“In the era of the autonomous enterprise, SAP partners are not just helping customers unlock value from AI and cloud transformation; they are co-creating this new operating model together with SAP and our customers,” Moore said.<\/p>\n
He added that Shekhar’s deep understanding of SAP’s business, customers and partner ecosystem positions him to strengthen the company’s partner network and accelerate innovation across India.<\/p>\n
Shekhar brings over 27 years of industry experience, including over two decades at SAP. During his tenure, he has held leadership roles across solution consulting, presales, sales and business development, working with customers across industries including public sector, defence, utilities, metals and mining.<\/p>\n
Before taking over the partner ecosystem role, Shekhar led SAP India’s emerging business portfolio, focusing on new customer acquisition and working with partners to expand SAP’s presence among emerging and high-growth enterprises.<\/p>\n
He also previously led SAP’s Premium Prospects business, driving net-new customer acquisition, competitive win-backs and growth across line-of-business solutions.<\/p>\n
Earlier in his career, he headed SAP’s presales organisation for strategic industry verticals, where he led cross-functional teams supporting customers across public sector, utilities, metals and mining. He also led SAP’s licence and compliance management function for the Indian subcontinent.<\/p>\n
Shekhar’s elevation comes as SAP continues to strengthen its partner ecosystem around enterprise AI adoption.<\/p>\n
The company expects partners to play a larger role in helping customers implement SAP Business AI, Industry AI and the SAP Autonomous Suite while supporting cloud migration and business transformation initiatives.<\/p>\n
The move reflects SAP India’s continued investment in its partner ecosystem as enterprises rely on systems integrators and technology partners to deploy AI, modernise business processes and accelerate cloud adoption. By expanding partners’ AI capabilities and strengthening co-innovation, SAP aims to help customers move from technology adoption to measurable business outcomes.<\/p>\n
