A new Aldi location and other national chains are coming to Harrison, Ohio, as part of its 22-acre retail center.<\/p>\n
The Harrison Town Center’s biggest tenant so far is Target, which is expected to open in October 2027. The center is located at 10400 Harrison Avenue.<\/p>\n
The Target and Aldi are the first of their franchises in Harrison. The nearest Aldi and Target are in Colerain Township and the Western Hills Plaza<\/a>.<\/p>\n The retail center is expected to create 575 new jobs, and the development has seen $60 million in investment so far.<\/p>\n In a statement, John Silverman, managing principal of developer Midland Atlantic Properties, said Harrison’s location on the I-74 corridor and near new housing developments “creates a robust and expanding trade area.” Harrison’s population of 12,500 in 2020 marked an almost 27% increase in population since 2010, according to U.S. Census data<\/a>.<\/p>\n “We’ve been incredibly encouraged by the attention the business community has shown our City, and we are excited about how the future is shaping up for our community,” Harrison Mayor Ryan Grubbs said in a statement.<\/p>\n What else is coming to the Harrison Town Center?<\/p>\n ALDI, a national grocery chain, has almost 2,800 locations<\/a> across the country.<\/p>\n In addition to Target and Aldi, the city announced three other tenants for the center: Fifth Third Bank, Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Nothin Bundt Cakes.<\/p>\n The new tenants are expected to start opening in August 2027, and the development will be completed in 2028.<\/p>\n
