{"id":61875,"date":"2026-07-27T07:58:09","date_gmt":"2026-07-27T07:58:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/61875\/"},"modified":"2026-07-27T07:58:09","modified_gmt":"2026-07-27T07:58:09","slug":"uniper-selects-worley-for-2030-carbon-capture-power-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/61875\/","title":{"rendered":"Uniper Selects Worley For 2030 Carbon Capture Power Station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Energy company Uniper has selected Worley as the preferred Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for its planned Connah\u2019s Quay Low Carbon Power project in Deeside.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement follows the conclusion of a competitive Front End Engineering Design (FEED) phase that launched in late 2024.<\/p>\n<p>If consented and developed, the proposed power station will feature carbon capture technology designed to trap at least 95% of its carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.<\/p>\n<p><a data-bid=\"1\" data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/carbonherald.com\/linkout\/59045\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"notrack\" aria-label=\"49-6709-MCW_X30-50-Trusted-Legacy-Simplified-Monitoring_Digital-Ad_600x200px\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/49-6709-MCW_X30-50-Trusted-Legacy-Simplified-Monitoring_Digital-Ad_600x200px.png\" alt=\"\"   class=\"no-lazyload\" width=\"600\" height=\"200\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uniper.energy\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Uniper<\/a> submitted its Development Consent Order (DCO) application in August 2025, with a final decision expected in the coming months.
