Pok\u00e9mon x adidas Collection<\/p>\n
Thirty years ago, Pok\u00e9mon Red, Blue, and Yellow were released to the public, spawning a franchise that now includes feature films, animated series, trading cards, video games, merchandise, and so much more. With 2026 marking the 30th birthday of Pok\u00e9mon<\/a>, we\u2019ve seen various characters and Pok\u00e9mon from the universe appear in collaborations from Puma<\/a> to LEGO<\/a>, and now adidas<\/a>.<\/p>\n Pok\u00e9mon x adidas First Look<\/p>\n The first three of what is expected to be many Pok\u00e9mon x adidas sneakers include representations of Pikachu, Gengar, and Charizard. The most popular and well-known Pok\u00e9mon, Pikachu, is found on the Pro Model. A yellow furry finish is applied to the upper, with \u201cPikachu\u201d text found on a tab attached to the Three Stripes logo. Actual depictions of Pikachu are found on the lateral side of each shoe and on the tongue tag, which contains a Pok\u00e9mon logo. Other details include a Pok\u00e9ball lace dubrae on the right shoe, Pikachu\u2019s tail added as a lace charm, and a Pikachu dubrae on the left.<\/p>\n Moving over to Gengar, the poison-type Pok\u00e9mon takes over the adidas Adistar XLG 2.0, aka the Squid. Gone are the Three Stripe logos on the midfoot, and instead, Gengar\u2019s eyes hang off the side of the lateral side, with the plastic TPU cage below rendered in a light lilac hue. More purple is used on the mesh base, but Gengar\u2019s white smile is found on the toebox. Like the Pikachu pair, Gengar is also found on the tongue tag and on the left shoe\u2019s lace dubrae.<\/p>\n Finally, Charizard blasts his way onto a pair of Superstars<\/a>. Faux orange reptile skin is found on the upper, but the biggest change comes in the form of the added dragon wings on the lacing system. This covers part of the midfoot and is also rendered in the same orange leather found on the rest of the shoe. Of course, the Superstar\u2019s shell toe remains, done in a cream white hue that contrasts the Pok\u00e9ball and Charizard lace dubraes.<\/p>\n Pok\u00e9mon x adidas Release Info<\/p>\n The first batch of Pok\u00e9mon x adidas sneakers are expected to release in the coming months via adidas and select retailers online and in-store.
