While BSH already has a presence in premium categories such as laundry appliances, dishwashers and built-in kitchen products, it now plans to expand its offering across food preparation, cooking, coffee and home care products.

According to the company, it is targeting an annual growth rate of around 20 per cent for its small domestic appliances business over the next five years, supported by investments in product development, manufacturing, retail expansion and customer service.

Saif Khan, managing director and CEO of BSH Home Appliances India, said the company’s decision to place greater emphasis on the segment reflects changing consumer preferences, with increasing demand for healthier cooking methods, premium coffee machines and connected home appliances.

As part of the announcement, BSH introduced a number of Bosch-branded kitchen appliances designed for Indian households.

Among them was the Bosch PureMixx Plus Mixer Grinder with Food Processor, which combines more than 40 food preparation functions into a single appliance. The company said it can knead dough for up to 100 rotis in around 10 minutes, chop 2kg of vegetables in under a minute and prepare a 1kg salad in less than a minute.

Another addition is the Bosch TrueMixx Pro Mixer Grinder, which incorporates the company’s Stone Pounding Technology and Active Flow Breaker system. Powered by a 1,000W copper motor capable of speeds of up to 24,000rpm, the appliance is designed for both heavy-duty grinding and everyday food preparation. It also features metal couplers, rotary controls and a motor rated for up to 60 minutes of continuous operation.

BSH also unveiled its Bosch Crispmaxx range of air fryers, which the company says can prepare food using up to 95 per cent less oil than conventional frying methods.

Looking ahead, the company confirmed two upcoming launches for the Indian market. The Bosch TrueSafe Indi induction cooktop will feature surge protection and faster heating technology, while the Bosch TrueSafe gas stove will introduce a patented Safe Lock mechanism aimed at improving kitchen safety.

Alongside the Bosch range, BSH showcased the Siemens EQ700 iAroma fully automatic coffee machine. Equipped with a five-inch iSelect touchscreen, Home Connect compatibility and personalised brewing settings, the machine is capable of preparing up to 41 coffee specialities.

The company said the expanded Bosch and Siemens portfolios form part of its strategy to build a broader premium home appliance ecosystem in India, with continued investment planned across manufacturing, retail and after-sales support.

BSH Home Appliances India is broadening its range of small domestic appliances under its Bosch and Siemens brands…

[21054
5307,50147,21064,6487
post-66729","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-bosch","tag-bosch","tag-bsh","tag-robert-bosch","tag-siemens
["GET
