In recent months, he has taken to visiting Stamford Hill and Golders Green to ask visibly Jewish people their thoughts on \u201cIsrael, Palestine\u2026 and the Epstein regime\u201d. In one video, he purchased and wore a kippah in an attempt to go \u201cundercover as a Jew\u201d. Those who expressed anti-Zionist views<\/a> were described by him as \u201cgood Jews\u201d.<\/p>\n He has also appeared to justify the October 7 atrocities\u00a0on multiple occasions.<\/p>\n On October 8, 2023 \u2013 the day after the massacre \u2013 Kent-Smith referred to its perpetrators as \u201cthe resistance\u201d, said those killed were \u201csettlers\u201d, and the day itself marked \u201ca significant milestone in Palestinian resistance history\u201d. He has also later claimed that \u201chalf the people that died on October 7 were actually killed by [Israel]\u201d through what is known as the \u201cHannibal directive\u201d.<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n He has also consistently voiced conspiracy theories alleging that \u201cZionists\u201d control the United States and Britain, and that the war with Iran is being waged because of the \u201cEpstein files<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n He has similarly asserted that \u201cpaedophiles are the only people who support Israel\u201d\u00a0and that \u201creal Jews hate Israel\u201d.<\/p>\n In response to the revelations, the Jewish Leadership Council (JLC) said Kent-Smith\u2019s conduct could amount to criminal offences and warrants\u00a0police investigation, while the Community Security Trust (CST) said it amounted to targeted harassment and called on social media platforms to take action.<\/p>\n Responding to news of the car ramming attack at the Berlin Pride parade last week that killed one and wounded 29 others, Kent-Smith tweeted that Israel was behind \u201cIslamic extremist terror\u201d.<\/p>\n He also posited that Israel was behind the mass influx of Moroccan\u00a0migrants\u00a0into Spain last Thursday. \u201cIsrael is the enemy of Europe and the whole world,\u201d he wrote on X.<\/p>\n He regularly refers to Hebrew as \u201cthat terrorist language\u201d during live streams, to Israelis as \u201cdemons\u201d and \u201cterrorist scum\u201d.<\/p>\n He has further claimed that both the Hatzola ambulance arson attack<\/a> in March and the drone incident near the Israeli embassy in London in April were \u201cfalse flag\u201d\u00a0operations carried out by Mossad.<\/p>\n Of the Hatzola attack, he posted: \u201cYou are a r****d if you can’t see that this is a blatant false flag.\u201d\u00a0Referring to the drone incident, he said that it was \u201cfalse flag bulls***\u00a0blaming Iran again\u201d.<\/p>\n An Iran-linked Islamist\u00a0group, Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia<\/a>, claimed responsibility for both incidents.<\/p>\n During a livestream discussing the drone incident, Kent-Smith said: \u201cThey think we\u2019re stupid, man\u2026 The propaganda is f***ing mental bro, the false flags are crazy\u2026 You\u2019re such an idiot if you f***ing believe that. It\u2019s always an Iranian group, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n “It\u2019s always an Iranian group and always blame f***ing Muslims\u2026 why would Iran and Hezbollah want to attack London? It makes no f***ing sense.\u201d<\/p>\n In a separate post, he appeared to endorse the conspiracy theory that Fifa unduly favoured Argentina<\/a> in the recent World Cup due to Jewish or Zionist influence by sharing a fake team lineup with the players\u2019\u00a0names altered to resemble popular Jewish surnames.<\/p>\n And in another, he drew comparisons between Israel and Nazi Germany, suggesting that the claim that the Jews are \u201cGod\u2019s chosen people\u201d was equivalent to Nazi theories about the \u201cmaster race\u201d.<\/p>\n Separately, Kent-Smith has shared on X speeches by former Hamas chief and architect of October 7\u00a0Yahya Sinwar<\/a>\u00a0accompanied by a broken heart emoji.<\/p>\n He has also claimed there is \u201cno evidence\u201d\u00a0that Hamas throws LGBT people off roofs, describing such claims as \u201cpropaganda\u201d.<\/p>\n He has called former Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei a \u201cmartyr\u201d.<\/p>\n In May this year, Kent-Smith appeared on the 5 Pillars podcast during which he was referred to as \u201cJosh\u201d and discussed various conspiracy theories, including Israel \u201ccontrolling\u201d multiple countries.<\/p>\n He said during that episode it was \u201ccrazy how this like little, small so-called country has got everyone just agreeing with them somehow\u201d.<\/p>\n He later said: \u201cAll of the people that do stand up against Israel, like you know look what happens in Venezuela<\/a>, Iran…they’re always demonised by our mainstream media, funnily enough… how is this small little place controlling America and Britain?\u201d<\/p>\n A JLC spokesperson said Kent-Smith \u201cappears to combine the spreading of antisemitic conspiracy theories, praise for proscribed terrorist organisations, and the justification of the atrocities of October 7 with approaching and filming visibly Jewish people in Jewish neighbourhoods for online content”.<\/p>\n \u201cContent of this kind risks contributing to an environment in which Jews increasingly feel intimidated and unsafe. Taken together, this conduct appears capable of amounting to harassment and other criminal offences.
