The energy supplier will also retain its position as the front-of-shirt sponsor of Forest Netball for the upcoming season.

The partnership, which began in 2021 with E.ON’s appointment as Nottingham Forest’s official sustainability partner, has expanded significantly over the past five years. E.ON Next first featured on the club’s training wear ahead of the 2023-24 campaign, and the latest renewal further strengthens a relationship that combines commercial visibility with long-term environmental initiatives.

The extension comes at a pivotal moment for the club, with the men’s team preparing for its fifth consecutive Premier League season, while Forest Women and Forest Netball continue to build their presence in Women’s Super League 2 and the Netball Super League respectively.

Away from the field, the partnership has delivered several landmark sustainability projects. These include a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at improving the environmental performance of both the City Ground and the Nigel Doughty Academy, alongside the creation of the City Ground’s carbon-zero fan zone. Opened in 2024, the dedicated matchday space accommodates up to 1,000 supporters and reflects the partners’ shared ambition to embed sustainability into the fan experience.

Paul Bell, Nottingham Forest’s Chief Operating Officer, said, “Our strong relationship with E.ON has been established for over five years, and we’re very pleased to continue this important partnership. We’re committed to partnering with organisations that share our values, and both Nottingham Forest and E.ON remain deeply passionate about working together to make a positive difference for our supporters and the wider community.”

Scott Somerville, Director of External Affairs at E.ON UK, added, “As a business serving millions of customers, with deep roots in Nottingham, we’re proud to extend our partnership with Forest. Together we’ve proven that sport can be a powerful platform by engaging communities and driving positive action. Renewing our backing of Forest’s Women’s, Men’s and Netball teams builds on that momentum because making new energy work means making it work for everyone. We’ll keep turning ambition into action, creating lasting impact off the pitch and helping supporters enjoy the moments that matter on it.”

The renewal highlights the growing role of purpose-driven partnerships in modern sport, where brands are increasingly seeking long-term collaborations that deliver measurable environmental and social impact alongside commercial value. For Nottingham Forest, the agreement reinforces a strategy of aligning with partners that contribute to the club’s wider ambitions beyond football, while providing E.ON with year-round exposure across multiple teams and community initiatives.

Nottingham Forest have extended their longstanding partnership with E.ON UK into the 2026-27 season, continuing a collaboration that…

[21068
21104,23732,21103,50885,50886,50887,50888,50889,174,50890,33619
post-68064","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-e-on","tag-e-on","tag-e-on-next","tag-e-on-se","tag-fa-womens-super-league-2","tag-netball-super-league","tag-nottingham-forest","tag-nottingham-forest-netball","tag-nottingham-forest-women","tag-premier-league","tag-premier-league-pl","tag-sponsorship
["GET
