{"id":68444,"date":"2026-08-07T12:19:14","date_gmt":"2026-08-07T12:19:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/68444\/"},"modified":"2026-08-07T12:19:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T12:19:14","slug":"germanys-matthai-prints-headquarters-and-opens-new-division","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/68444\/","title":{"rendered":"Germany\u2019s Matth\u00e4i prints headquarters and opens new division"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" post-id=\"73044\" fifulocal-featured=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/3d-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-73045\"  \/>Images courtesy of Matth\u00e4i Group<\/p>\n<p>\nGerman construction engineering company Matth\u00e4i has created a printing division following the completion of a 364-sq-m, two-story headquarters in Selsingen, Lower Saxony, using a Cobod Bod2 printer.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 7.4m-high building is 22.5m-long and 13.5m-deep with two storeys, a 170-sq-m ground floor and 194-sq-m upper level.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Walls were printed using Holcim\u2019s TectorPrint cementitious material in 105 hours, with the building\u2019s form produced directly from a digital model without the formwork traditional construction requires.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/3d-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-73046\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The foundation, base slab, floors and roof were built using conventional methods.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Peri 3D Construction was the technology partner and supervisor during the printing phase, working alongside architects Schulenburg and planning firm Mense-Korte.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Matth\u00e4i\u2019s newly founded printing division has also been created in partnership with Peri.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/3d-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-73047\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tim Schulenburg, Schulenburg Architekten\u2019s managing director, said: \u201c3D concrete printing allows us to completely revolutionise traditional construction processes.
