He described Next as a great business delivering consistent upgrades, but one that is fairly priced.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">First-half full-price sales rose 7.7%, with growth accelerating to 9.2% in the second quarter. Cochrane said beating guidance has become an expectation at Next, though that should not distract from the strength of the absolute figures compared with peers.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">Deutsche has lifted its pre-tax profit forecast for the year to January 2027 by 5% to \u00a31.26 billion.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">That sits above the company&#8217;s own guidance of \u00a31.24 billion, with the difference driven by faster international growth. The bank now expects online international sales to rise 25% this year, up from a previous forecast of 15%.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">Profit from that division is forecast to jump 16% above its earlier estimate to \u00a3253 million. Cochrane also raised his expectations for income from Next&#8217;s equity investments in other retail businesses.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">Both changes offer greater diversification away from the more mature UK operation and support the premium rating the shares command against the rest of the sector, he argued.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">The analyst was more cautious on the equity stakes, saying he would expect a higher return to compensate for the risk, particularly if the investments grow.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">He also flagged potential upside from what he regards as a conservative second-half sales forecast.
