What started as a request for a bespoke dashboard clock evolved into one of the most extensive collaborations Singer has undertaken.<\/p>\n

At the centre of both cars is a removable mechanical timepiece inspired by Louis Vuitton’s Tambour watch.<\/p>\n

The first car is a Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic coupe.<\/p>\n

Finished in saffron and cobalt blue, it features a roof rack designed to carry luggage, skis or a surfboard. The cabin uses tan leather trim, yellow stitching and a range of custom details referencing Louis Vuitton’s luggage heritage.<\/p>\n

Singer says virtually every touchpoint was reworked, with metal switchgear, bespoke gauges and hand-finished components replacing conventional fittings.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe specifications chosen by Louis Vuitton exposed us to techniques and methods developed over decades of experience,\u201d Singer founder and executive chairman Rob Dickinson said.<\/p>\n

The second vehicle is a Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Turbo cabriolet, created with input from Louis Vuitton Women’s Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesqui\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Finished in Calcaire Lut\u00e9tien white with wood trim throughout, the cabriolet combines nautical-inspired design cues with Singer’s turbocharged 911 platform. <\/p>\n

The rear luggage area incorporates timber decking, while a custom dashboard clock is positioned in the centre console rather than behind the steering wheel.<\/p>\n

Both vehicles come with matching collections of Louis Vuitton luggage and accessories tailored specifically to each car. These include fitted travel cases, driving gloves, helmets, apparel and key holders designed to match the colours and materials used throughout the vehicles.<\/p>\n

Underneath the bespoke finishes remain Singer’s extensively re-engineered Porsche foundations.<\/p>\n

The Classic coupe uses a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre air-cooled flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission, while the Classic Turbo features a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six, six-speed manual gearbox and selectable drive modes.<\/p>\n

The Road Ahead<\/p>\n

Neither company has indicated plans for broader production, with both cars developed as one-off commissions showcasing the capabilities of Louis Vuitton’s craftsmen and Singer’s restoration expertise. <\/p>\n

The project also highlights Louis Vuitton’s renewed interest in automotive design, a relationship that stretches back to the early days of motoring.<\/p>\n
