Louis Vuitton and Singer jointly revealed two bespoke Porsche 911-based creations.<\/p>\n Both cars feature a removable mechanical dashboard clock inspired by the Tambour watch.<\/p>\n The Classic gets travel gear while the Turbo Cabriolet wears wood like an Italian motorboat.<\/p>\n There are countless collaborations<\/a> out there between supercar builders and high-end brands. Then, there\u2019s whatever Singer<\/a> and Louis Vuitton just cooked up across two very special cars. The design house worked with Singer to add its own touch to the gauges, trim, controls, luggage, driving gear, and even the dashboard clock. Frankly, calling it a clock is underselling it, as it can come out of the car and become a desk clock. That\u2019s how extreme these builds are.<\/p>\n The project began with that watch, which took a year of development once Louis Vuitton and Singer decided the rest of the cabin had to live up to it. The gauges now use Tambour-inspired graphics, cobalt blue faces, and orange lettering. There are two cars. The first is a Singer Classic coupe in saffron and cobalt blue, colors that reference both Louis Vuitton\u2019s heritage and Singer\u2019s early Bahama Yellow commissions. It has a specially designed roof rack for a bespoke trunk, skis, or the matching surfboard seen in the photos. Underneath the carbon-fiber-bodied 964 is a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter air-cooled flat-six, six-speed manual, rear-wheel drive, and carbon-ceramic brakes.<\/p>\n Its cabin gets naturally colored leather, yellow stitching, hand-finished metal controls, and tiny Monogram flower details on the seat ventilation eyelets. There\u2019s also bespoke luggage shaped for the front trunk, a helmet, driving gloves, shoes, and a jacket. Will they fit future owners? We have no idea, but we\u2019re quite confident that person can afford new pieces should they desire them.<\/p>\n The other is a Classic Turbo Cabriolet designed with Louis Vuitton women\u2019s creative director Nicolas Ghesqui\u00e8re. Finished in limestone-inspired Calcaire Lut\u00e9tien white, it has a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six, manual transmission, a whale-tail spoiler, and wood everywhere. The bumpers, rear deck, cabin trim, and even the luggage compartment borrow from classic runabouts.<\/p>\n
