Rodriguez said she felt the wheel wobbling, prompting them to stop and inspect the car before the problem became more serious.

The Fast & Furious celebrity was taking part in the 2026 Gumball 3000 Rally, where she teamed up with Daily Driven Exotics and was handed the keys to a 1,000-hp Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. The event began in Miami and was scheduled to end in Mexico City. Although the information is not specified, the Mercedes likely encountered the wheel-bolt problem during the rally.

According to the conversation, three bolts had come off the wheel. Rodriguez initially referred to them as “sockets” and “nuggets” before being corrected that they were called bolts. Fortunately, they had spare bolts in the car, reportedly left there by the Daily Driven Exotics team in case something similar happened. It appeared to be an issue the team had encountered before, but they had mostly kept the spare bolts as a precaution.

Image Credit: Daily Driven Exotics Clips / YouTube

However, there was another problem- the proper tool to install the replacement bolts was not placed in the SLS AMG. Rodriguez and the others discussed needing an electronic tool to get the job done, leaving them temporarily stranded.

Fortunately, a tow truck driver, Thomas, arrived to help. Rodriguez explained that the “sockets came out of the tire” and that they had caught the problem in time because the wheel was wobbling. Rodriguez then handed the car over to be towed because it was too dangerous to drive the SLS without the proper tool to secure the wheel bolts.

She then thanked Thomas, jokingly calling him their “knight in shining armor.” Despite the unexpected setback, the celebrity appeared to take the incident in good spirits as she joked about the “adventure” they experienced. Considering her action-packed role as Letty, a loose wheel did not seem to bother her much. Luckily, both women noticed the wobble early, potentially preventing a much more serious incident. They may have been able to continue their journey in a backup car.

Michelle Rodriguez, best known for playing Letty Ortiz in the Fast & Furious franchise, experienced an unexpected problem…

[20951
53558,21297,3622
post-72009","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-mercedes-benz","tag-fast-and-furious","tag-mercedes-amg","tag-mercedes-benz
["GET
