And while bold flavors are enough to grab our attention, conscious ingredients are a welcome bonus. Who knew we’d be drinking sodas made with plant fiber in 2026?\u00a0<\/p>\n

But the trend extends well beyond soda. Brands are bringing the same creativity to soda water<\/a>, too, offering fun, caffeine-free, naturally flavored alternatives for\u00a0anyone looking to switch up their typical beverage routine. Take Liquid Death, for instance. The brand started out selling canned water, but now they’ve embraced unique, nostalgia-fueled sparkling water flavors, from Hot Fudge Sundae<\/a> to Strawberry Pop-Tarts<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

If those flavors sound intriguing, wait until you hear about a new Waterloo flavor that shoppers are “stockpiling<\/a>.” Stemming from a collaboration with Guy Fieri<\/a>, this ice cream parlor-inspired drink<\/a> is currently on shelves at Aldi, and it’s sure to take you straight to Flavortown.<\/p>\n

Waterloo is one of our favorite soda water brands. Free from sugars and sweeteners and made with natural flavors, the brand consistently keeps us on our toes with its playful and unique offerings<\/a>. Now, the brand has launched a new limited-edition Root Beer Float flavor in collaboration with Fieri, and it’s quickly proving to be a real crowd-pleaser.<\/p>\n

Featuring herbal, earthy spices and notes of vanilla, Waterloo’s Root Beer Float is a clear winner. As one fan<\/a> put it on the Aldi subreddit, it “has no business being as good as it is.”<\/p>\n

In fact, shoppers have been “bulk buying these for the past month” and raving about it ever since it hit Aldi stores earlier this summer. “Identical to root beer<\/a>…I hope to god they don’t discontinue these,” they added.<\/p>\n

“This is the only flavor where it actually tastes like a can of root beer and not just ‘essence,'” commented one person. Another simply described it as “unreal.”<\/p>\n

Many fans are hoping that Waterloo makes this a permanent flavor. Some have even gone so far as to write to the brand. “We all need to write to Waterloo and beg them to keep producing Root Beer Float,” one Redditor<\/a> commented. “I’ve written to them three times myself.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Last year’s limited-edition Lemon Italian Ice eventually became a permanent flavor on Waterloo’s lineup, so we’ll just have to wait and see if Root Beer Float makes the cut. In the meantime, it’s worth buying a box or two of this flavor, just in case.<\/p>\n
