Luxury air travel is getting a new concept designed not just for one VIP, but for the entire group.<\/p>\n

Lufthansa Technik and Designworks, a BMW Group Company, have partnered to create The BOW, a modular narrowbody cabin concept designed around the idea of traveling as a team. The concept brings together Lufthansa Technik\u2019s aviation expertise and Designworks\u2019 experience in automotive design, luxury, and technology.<\/p>\n

Rather than focusing on a single principal passenger and their entourage, The BOW is designed for executive teams, sports teams, and performing artists. Its interior balances private spaces with areas designed for conversation, meetings, dining and time together.<\/p>\n

The cabin begins with a dedicated reception and lobby, where curved architectural forms, premium materials and integrated technology create a hospitality-inspired entrance. From there, the cabin can be adapted to different needs, with layouts and suite configurations that can be changed depending on the mission.<\/p>\n

At the heart of the concept are 14 private BOW Suites. Each accommodates one primary traveler along with a guest for dining or meetings, while dedicated storage provides space for personal belongings, including musical instruments or professional equipment. The suites feature soft geometries, arcs, progressive forms and premium natural materials, and can be customized to each passenger.<\/p>\n

Privacy is also flexible. Movable partitions and automated sections allow individual areas to shift from a more private, cocoon-like setting to a more open social environment. The configuration can accommodate up to 28 passengers while maintaining comfort and exclusivity.<\/p>\n

The central lounge is designed to be just as versatile. A spacious forum includes two multifunctional displays and a large presentation table that can be divided into four sections. The space can transition from fine dining to a collaborative environment for business groups, athletes, or artists.<\/p>\n

Technology is integrated discreetly throughout the cabin, including acoustic shielding, ambient lighting, scent options, high-end Omni-Fi speakers and the nice intellitable, which incorporates hidden screens into smart tables. Lufthansa Technik\u2019s Hidden Touch technology allows controls to disappear into the surrounding surface when they are not being used.<\/p>\n
