{"id":76683,"date":"2026-08-21T17:16:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-21T17:16:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/76683\/"},"modified":"2026-08-21T17:16:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T17:16:09","slug":"mammoth-delivers-its-first-777-200-conversion-to-jetran","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/76683\/","title":{"rendered":"Mammoth delivers its first 777-200 conversion to Jetran"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mammoth Freighters has delivered its first converted Boeing 777-200LRMF freighter to Texas-based lessor Jetran ahead of the aircraft joining DHL\u2019s UK operation.<\/p>\n<p>The aircraft (MSN 32222) is the first of more than two dozen Mammoth 777-200LRMF freighters ordered by Jetran, 13 of which will be placed into revenue service within the DHL global network.<\/p>\n<p>Additional deliveries from Jetran\u2019s order book \u2014 including aircraft bound for DHL and Qatar Airways \u2014 are scheduled<br \/>for the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis delivery is a defining moment for Mammoth Freighters,\u201d said Bill Tarpley, chief executive of Mammoth Freighters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeeing this aircraft transition from its public debut\u2014and pending entry into revenue service with DHL\u2014demonstrates the immense momentum behind our 777 programme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to deliver this milestone freighter to Jetran and deeply appreciate their trust as we continue supplying the market with one of the world\u2019s most capable, converted cargo platforms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jordan Jaffe, chief executive of Jetran, added:\u00a0\u201cTaking delivery of our first Mammoth 777 freighter represents far more than a fleet expansion \u2014 it validates the exceptional engineering and production quality of this programme as it enters active service with DHL.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis delivery is the culmination of years of joint innovation, and we look forward to watching these freighters deliver enduring value for operators worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In July, the aircraft made its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aircargonews.net\/freighter-conversions-mro\/2026\/07\/dhl-reveals-first-mammoth-777-200-freighter-conversion-and-confirms-13-aircraft-ordered\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">public debut at the Farnborough International Airshow in the UK.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>DHL said four of the 13 converted aircraft it is leasing are planned to enter service this year.<\/p>\n<p>These 777-200LRMFs will join DHL Express\u2019 global air network as part of long-term fleet modernisation plans.
