Where the first collection centered on the idea of a “first breath,” RUN02 looks at what comes after: repetition, routine and the gradual attachment that forms around running.

Built around the phrase “Run In Love,” the collection shifts attention away from competitive goals and toward the recurring details that shape a runner’s day. Early starts, wet clothes after rain, familiar routes, shared rituals and the return home all inform the project. The collection approaches running as a personal practice driven by affection for people, places and movement itself.

Photography by ethan&tom
Photography by ethan&tom

Footwear expands across two adidas Running models. The Supernova Rise 3 SFTM returns in antiquated off-white and earthen khaki, with irregular graphics applied across the midsoles and handwritten Song for the Mute branding by creative director Lyna Ty. The design brings playful imperfection into a technical running shoe intended for daily use.

The Adizero Evo SL SFTM takes a more expressive approach. Its unevenly dyed upper incorporates Song for the Mute sketches directly into the mesh, turning handwritten marks into a visual element across the silhouette. Both footwear styles include illustrated insoles featuring dragonflies, sun motifs, wild botanicals and handwritten typography.

RUN02’s apparel works as a layering system that moves between running, recovery and everyday wear. The palette develops the chalk whites, ivories and dark tones of RUN01 with mineral espresso, olive drab, faded lilac and soft stone shades.

Photography by ethan&tom

Graphics remain central throughout the range. Birds in flight, wildflowers, suns and handwritten fragments appear across garments alongside phrases including “First Breath,” “Intuition,” “RUN RUN RUN,” “Run In Love,” “Simple Joy” and “Rhythm.”

Lightweight running shorts and washed tanks form the inner layers, with stonewashed and cold-dyed treatments referencing older race singlets. Relaxed unisex T-shirts arrive in washed cotton jerseys with faded slogan graphics, while long-sleeve waffle tops use contrast panels, cold-dyed base layers, thumb holes and visible overlock construction.

Printed and embroidered graphics add further texture. The embroidery is designed to pill after washing, creating the worn character associated with older running club apparel.

Photography by ethan&tom

For pre-run and recovery use, the collection introduces heavyweight terry fleece and multi-panel waffle fabrics across track pants and quarter-zip tops. A perforated running cap, technical socks and an illustrated bandana complete the range.

The accompanying campaign moves away from conventional sports imagery. Developed with Song for the Mute, creative director Stephen Mann, and collaborators Ethan and Tom, the visuals focus on the traces that running leaves behind. Clothes hang beneath grey skies, shoes sit beside unmade beds, washing machines turn and coffee waits nearby.

Other images follow runners through city streets, apartments and coffee stops. The camera catches shoelaces being adjusted on curbs, corners taken at speed, pasta after an evening run and recovery in an ice bath. RUN02 ultimately frames running through accumulated habits, friendships and repeated returns.

View Gallery

    22 images

Photography by ethan&tom Song for the Mute and adidas Running return for Fall Winter 2026 with RUN02, the…

[21254
27226,21290,21438,21439,21440,23320,24965
post-77903","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-adidas","tag-ad-campaigns","tag-adidas","tag-collaborations","tag-sneaker-releases","tag-sneakers","tag-song-for-the-mute","tag-sportswear
["GET
