The third-generation Audi Q3 has finally made its debut in India, after being globally unveiled over a year ago. It is expected to go on sale in the Indian market this October, with an expected price of around Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom). The all-new Q3 will be locally assembled and will compete in the SUV segment against rivals such as the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.<\/p>\n
With its revamped styling, the all-new Q3 is larger than its predecessor in every dimension and features a much sharper design language. Upfront, it gets split LED headlamps and a wide grille, along with an even wider honeycomb-patterned air dam and ridged skid plates below.<\/p>\n
Moving to the side, the third-gen Q3 gets body-coloured cladding, dual-tone alloy wheels, roof rails and a chrome trim piece running along its beltline. The new Q3 now features split taillamps connected by an LED strip running below an illuminated Audi emblem. Lower down, there is a sculpted, body-coloured bumper with faux air exits and a silver skid plate.<\/p>\n
Interior Updates<\/p>\n
The interior has also witnessed several changes, with new black and beige seats, an all-new 12.8-inch touchscreen and an 11-inch digital driver’s display. The centre console features a row of buttons, a gloss-black finish, a wireless charger and an engine start\/stop button, along with a media control knob, electronic parking brake and cup holders.<\/p>\n

Instead of a conventional drive selector, the new Audi Q3 gets a stalk behind the steering wheel. The cabin is further equipped with premium features such as a Sonos sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, paddle shifters, configurable ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera setup and a panoramic sunroof.<\/p>\n
Performance Specs<\/p>\n
The new-gen Q3 is expected to be powered by a sole 2.0-litre four-cylinder direct-injection turbo-petrol engine developing 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque. The motor is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels via Audi’s quattro AWD system.<\/p>\n
