\n\tThe past decade has brought a wealth of talent to women\u2019s tennis<\/a>, and fans need not look any further than the past decade of U.S. Open<\/a> women\u2019s singles champions. With notorious depth among the field, players like Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff<\/a> and more have dominated the final Grand Slam tournament of the tennis<\/a> season in recent years, and they\u2019ve done it all in style.<\/p>\n

\n\tNike<\/a>, New Balance<\/a> and Adidas<\/a>, among other brands, have all been represented by recent U.S. Open women\u2019s singles champions. Before the tournament officially kicks off with first round matches on Aug. 30, WWD looks back at the tennis kits worn by some of the women\u2019s champions over the past 10 years.<\/p>\n

\n\tAt the 2025 U.S. Open women\u2019s singles final, Aryna Sabalenka defended her title in style, sporting a Nike<\/a> tennis dress with waist cutouts. The dress was cast in a black and white color scheme with hot punch tones to add further definition at the waist. The performance-driven apparel piece included sweat-wicking fabric with an open-back design for enhanced ventilation. Sabalenka signed with Nike in 2017.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the days following the tournament, Launchmetrics detailed how Nike dominated the court<\/a>. Nike was the top-performing brand of the 2025 U.S. Open with $9.4 million in media impact value \u2014 a proprietary metric that assigns a true monetary value to marketing strategies across print, online and social media in order to calculate ROI.<\/p>\n

\n\tFor her maiden grand slam title, Coco Gauff turned to her tennis kit partner New Balance<\/a>. The athlete, who officially signed with the brand in 2018, wore a deep maroon and red kit that included a sleeveless tank top and tennis skirt with subtle pleating. Gauff also had another iteration of the look in chartreuse, but it was the red style that the athlete wore for her first U.S. Open title and grand slam.<\/p>\n

The athlete and four-time French Open champion wore a complete kit that came with a celeste-toned skirt and coordinated white jacket with a sleeveless shirt. While competing and accepting her trophy, \u015awi\u0105tek also sported an Asics hat. \u015awi\u0105tek signed with the brand in 2020, parting ways with Nike.<\/p>\n

\n\tSloane Stephens<\/a> brought Under Armour to the U.S. Open with her orange sherbet-toned tennis dress. The sleeveless kit incorporated the summery color with contrasting bold lines to further accentuate the monochrome scheme. Stephens also wore a visor from the brand. The American athlete signed with the brand in 2010 but parted ways in the months following her U.S. Open win with Nike.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn 2016, German tennis star Angelique Kerber<\/a> brought bursts of color to the tennis court in her Adidas<\/a> kit. The color-pop look was created with a sleeveless tank and paired with a geometric-patterned skirt in shades of blue, chartreuse, orange and more.
