Germany prepares direct sanctions against Russia<\/p>\n

According to three people familiar with the situation, the German government plans to impose direct restrictions on Russian entities. They agreed to speak only on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the issue.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the European Union is preparing a new package of sanctions against Russia in Brussels. Germany\u2019s measures are expected to complement the bloc-wide restrictions currently being drafted.<\/p>\n
