Credit: NanoBridge Semiconductor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"drop-cap\">Japan-based chipmaker NanoBridge Semiconductor has entered into an agreement with Siemens to use its Precision FPGA Synthesis tool for field-programmable gate array (FPGA) development.<\/p>\n<p>An FPGA is a type of computer chip that can be configured by the user after it has been manufactured to perform specific digital tasks. FPGA synthesis tools convert hardware designs into logic that can be implemented on FPGAs.<\/p>\n<p>            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/GD-brand.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/p>\n<p>            Access deeper industry intelligence<\/p>\n<p>\n            Experience unmatched clarity with a single platform that combines unique data, AI, and human expertise.\n        <\/p>\n<p>\n            <a href=\"https:\/\/verdict.co.uk\/globaldata-intelligence-center?utm_source=Media-sites&amp;utm_medium=Website&amp;utm_campaign=Verdict-Curve-Media-Media-Landing-Page-Banner-IC-Demo&amp;CampaignValue=701Ti00000blv0kIAA&amp;utm_content=RHS\" class=\"gms-find-out-more\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><br \/>\n                Find out more<\/p>\n<p>            <\/a>\n        <\/p>\n<p>The move is intended to enhance the development process for NanoBridge Semiconductor\u2019s NBS6503H and NBS1201 FPGA device families.<\/p>\n<p>Siemens stated that under an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement, NanoBridge Semiconductor will offer a version of the Precision FPGA Synthesis tailored for its customers working with the company\u2019s specific FPGA devices.<\/p>\n<p>The aim is to help engineers achieve improved synthesis outcomes while supporting more efficient workflows.<\/p>\n<p>NanoBridge Semiconductor co-founder and chief technology officer Toshitsugu Sakamoto said: \u201cNanoBridge Semiconductor is focused on advancing low-power and harsh-environment semiconductor technologies for aerospace, automotive and critical infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur adoption of Siemens\u2019 Precision FPGA Synthesis enables us to provide our customers with a synthesis flow tailored for our FPGA device families while continuing to expand the ecosystem supporting our technologies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe value our collaboration with Siemens as we work to accelerate innovation and broaden adoption of our FPGA solutions for some of the world\u2019s most demanding applications and environments.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>NanoBridge Semiconductor develops non-volatile FPGA and memory devices using proprietary NanoBridge technology, with a focus on applications such as aerospace, secure elements, smart infrastructure, and automotive systems.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration with Siemens is expected to support further developments in FPGA design, technical support, and ecosystem building for these applications.<\/p>\n<p>Siemens EDA Japan vice president Yukio Tsuchida said: \u201cInnovative semiconductor companies are driving the next wave of advances in programmable electronics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur collaboration with NanoBridge Semiconductor to bring the power of Precision FPGA Synthesis to its customers and provide a flow optimised for its FPGA device families demonstrates how Siemens\u2019 technology can help semiconductor innovators accelerate development, reduce complexity and bring advanced products to market with confidence.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In April, Siemens and Humanoid <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verdict.co.uk\/siemens-trials-humanoid-robot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">conducted<\/a> a trial involving a humanoid robot powered by Nvidia\u2019s AI platform.
