We are talking about none other than the Mercedes-Maybach S 680, a model that boast no less than 664 pound-feet (900 Nm) of torque from its twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 unit and 621 brake horsepower (463 kW\/630 ps). How fast is it? Try 4.3 seconds from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 kph), which is not bad at all for such a heavyweight contender, and a ride aimed at the luxury side of the segment, is it?<\/p>\n

The facelifted iteration, with its star-studded lighting units at both ends, and other novelties, is as fast as before, and will join the lineup in the United States of America for the 2027 model year<\/a>, with pricing to be announced soon, the company\u2019s official website reveals. The Mercedes-Maybach S 680 features a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission that sends power to the 4Matic fully variable all-wheel drive system.<\/p>\n

According to the listing, which we will link toward the end of this story, the pictured Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is a 2024 model year. The S 680 in question features a Nautical Blue Metallic paint finish on the lower parts of the body and Cirrus Silver on the upper sections. It has a Yacht Blue and Black interior, and benefits from plenty of things, including high-end leather upholstery, and silver aluminum fanned open-pore walnut wood trim, which came from Manufaktur\u2019s portfolio, aka Mercedes\u2019 customization division.<\/p>\n

The Manufacktur Exclusive Interior is also mentioned in the ad<\/a>, alongside the heated steering wheel, the MBUX high-end rear-seat entertainment system, the Burmester 4D surround sound premium sound system, the 12.8-inch touchscreen display for the MBUX infotainment system, and the 4.5-degree rear-axle steering. Thus, you are looking at a highly-optioned luxury sedan that sits on 22-inch wheels finished in Nautical Blue Metallic.<\/p>\n

In fact, the alloys, which came from HRE\u2019s portfolio and were shod in tires that have 2025 date codes on them, are the only notable modification that the seller reported. Well, these and the ceramic window tint, and the paint protection film applied to the front fascia. The car in question was involved in an accident in April 2026, sustaining \u201cminor\u201d damage to its front and rear ends, and the seller says that it sustained hail damage, with the dings being removed from the hood, roof, and trunk using paintless dent repair.<\/p>\n

This Mercedes-Maybach S 680<\/a> is said to have just under 9,400 miles (~15,100 km) on the clock, and a single owner in the papers, who is said to have purchased the car new in June 2024. The attached window sticker reveals that they paid $265,750 for this machine, and the seller represents them in the ongoing online auction on Cars&Bids, who hasn\u2019t revealed the motive(s) behind trying to sell this otherwise cool (this writer thinks) car.<\/p>\n

The vehicle has a clean Ohio title, is currently located in Chagrin Falls, and has been in the shop several times. It had its front and rear rotors and brake pads replaced earlier this year, in February 2026, at 8,265 miles (13,301 km), and the engine oil and filter are said to have been changed in June 2025, when the odometer read 5,556 miles (8,942 km). The front and rear brake pads and the brake rotors were also replaced in January 2025, at 3,998 miles (6,434 km), the ad shows.<\/p>\n

In addition to the car, the next owner will also get the above mentioned window sticker, as well as the owner\u2019s manuals, two keys, and the OEM wheels that measure 20 inches in diameter, complete with the tires.<\/p>\n

The luxury sedan, which goes up against the Bentley Flying Spur and the Rolls-Royce Ghost, is advertised on Cars&Bids. The gavel will hit the table this Friday, September 11, 2026, and you should know that there is a reserve on it, and at $105,500, which was the highest bid at the time of writing, it likely hasn\u2019t been met.<\/p>\n

After all, this model tends to fetch between $165,000 and $195,000 in today\u2019s market, and we are talking about the 2024 V12-powered machine, and we do not see why this one would not fetch well over $150K, because it looks great, and does not have any issues.<\/p>\n
