English professional golfer Tommy Fleetwood has signed a deal with alternative asset manager Blackstone to become its first global brand ambassador.
The world number four will support the company’s efforts to engage with private wealth investors. Blackstone is the world’s largest alternative asset manager, with $1.3trn in assets under management.
Fleetwood competes on both the PGA TOUR and the DP World Tour. His career highlights include eight wins on the DP World Tour, including a season-ending Race to Dubai victory in 2017. He has represented Team Europe in the Ryder Cup four times and has played for Team GB in two Olympic Games.
Jon Gray, President and Chief Operating Officer of Blackstone, said, “Tommy Fleetwood exemplifies the qualities that define our firm and resonate with our clients—disciplined performance, fierce determination, and high ethical standards. That mindset reflects how we try to operate every day. We’re genuinely excited to partner with someone who is committed to winning and doing it in the right way.”
Tommy Fleetwood said, “I am extremely proud to represent Blackstone as its global ambassador on the world stage. Consistency, trust and striving to improve every day are just some of the values that I know we share and that make this partnership truly special. I am excited to join a powerhouse in global finance, that operates at the highest level and look forward to our story.”
