Both players find the fairway off the tee, but into a brisk wind, they’ll both have about 200 yards into the green with Ftizpatrick hitting first.

Fitzpatrick hits an incredible shot into the green and will have 10 feet for birdie. Scheffler comes up about 50 or so yards short of the pin, a clear mishit. He’ll have to get up and down for a chance at extending this.

Scottie’s pitch shot ends up 8 feet from the hole. Fitzpatrick has 13 feet to win his second Heritage title.

He sinks it! Second win at the Heritage in a playoff for Fitzpatrick, both coming after incredible iron shots into the closing 18th.

Scottie Scheffler and Matt Fitzpatrick are going to a playoff after Fitzpatrick bogeys the 18th. Fitzpatrick beat Jordan Spieth to win the Heritage in 2023. Scheffler won it in 2024.

Matt Fitzpatrick’s lead is down to one with two holes left. World No. 1 has back-to-back birdies to get to 18 under.

It’s not over yet. Si Woo Kim birdies the par-5 15th to get within two shots off Matt Fitzpatrick, who remains at 19 under.

Scottie Scheffler adds his second birdie of the front nine on the ninth, but he still trails by 3 shots with nine holes to play. Matt Fitzpatrick is playing steady golf on Sunday, even as conditions have toughened.

A strong start for Fitz, who birdies two of his first three holes to move to 19 under and four shots ahead of Scottie Scheffler and Si Woo Kim.
