If you’ve been a fan of the PGA Tour for a while, you’ll definitely recognize some of the big names vying for the U.S. Senior Open championship, one of the PGA Tour Champions‘ five majors, coming to you live this week on NBC and Peacock.
Starting Thursday, July 2 and running through Sunday, July 5, a veritable who’s who of golf legends will be competing for the championship at the Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio, the 110-year-old course that’s been home to a previous U.S. Senior Open (2016), and is one of only five courses to host the U.S. Open, PGA Championship, Ryder Cup, and U.S. Amateur.

Check out NBC Sports’ best-in-the-business golf coverage of the PGA Tour Champions’ U.S. Senior Open on Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3, on Peacock from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. ET. Golfers to watch in the 2026 U.S. Senior Open
Of course, Notah Begay III, a notable member of NBC Sports, is noticeably absent from the broadcast team this week, as he’ll be busy playing in the tournament, after earning his place in the field through final qualifying. He’ll have tough competition at Scioto, though, including last year’s champ Padraig Harrington and last year’s runner-up, Stewart Cink, as well as Steven Alker, Miguel Angel Jiménez, and World Golf Hall of Famers and two-time U.S. Open winners Ernie Els and Retief Goosen.
