Professional golf is back in Northern Colorado, and a star from Fort Collins will be competing.
The Blue Championship is July 9-12 at TPC Colorado in Berthoud.
Here’s what to know about the pro golf tournament, which has a $1 million purse:
Blue Championship schedule
The tournament runs July 9-12 with one round scheduled each day. Each round is set to begin at 6:30 a.m.
Fossil Ridge graduate Dillon Stewart to compete
Dillon Stewart hit his tee shot on the 14th hole during the first round of the LECOM Suncoast Classic 2026 at Lakewood National Golf Club Commander on April 2, 2026 in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
Fossil Ridge graduate Dillon Stewart has been granted an exemption to compete in the tournament.
The 25-year-old Stewart was a standout at Oklahoma State after graduating from Fossil Ridge.
Stewart collected his first PGA TOUR-sanctioned win at the 2025 Bromont Open and finished the season No. 12 in the PGA TOUR Americas Points List. This will be Stewart’s first start at The Blue Championship and 14th start on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Stewart won the Colorado Class 5A individual high school title while helping the SaberCats win the team title in 2018.

Clubhouse ticket for $40.
Summit Club ticket for $225.
Executive Women’s Day for $250.
Military and first responders get free entry.
Children under 17 can walk the grounds during the tournament for free if they are with a ticketed adult.
