From seasoned veterans to a future Bulldog making his debut, Georgia’s presence at the Masters will be as strong as ever. Six players with ties to the program are set to compete at Augusta National Golf Club, each bringing momentum and storylines into the year’s first major.

Here’s who to watch for:

Harris English

English is making his seventh Masters appearance after finishing a career-best tied for 12th place in 2025. That finish was guided by a final-round score of 68, his lowest round of the tournament. English, who had an eventful 2025 as he was runner-up in both the PGA Championship and The Open, competed in his first Tour Championship since 2021 and represented the United States in the Ryder Cup.

Brian Harman

The 39-year-old competed in the Tour Championship in 2025 for the third time in the past four years after a very strong 2025 season in which he had three top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour. After winning The Open in 2023 at Royal Liverpool, Harman went on to represent the United States in both the 2023 Ryder Cup and 2024 Presidents Cup. Harman is making his eighth Masters start and was a three-time All-American at Georgia.

Russell Henley

The four-time All-American at Georgia is looking to build off a strong 2025 season in which he finished as the runner-up in the Tour Championship in August for his second consecutive top-four finish at East Lake. Additionally, Henley won the Arnold Palmer Invitational, recorded top-10 finishes in both the U.S. Open and The Open for a second straight year and represented the United States in the Ryder Cup. Henley will be making his 10th Masters appearance, with his best finish thus far being in 2023, in which he finished tied for fourth.

Sepp Straka

Straka made his Masters debut in 2022 when he became just the second Austrian to compete in the Masters. The 32-year-old former All-American with the Bulldogs had a strong 2025 season in which he won the Truist Championship and American Express tournament while reaching the Tour Championship for the fourth straight year. Straka was also a member of the winning European Ryder Cup team in 2025.

Bubba Watson

Watson is one of 18 players to win the Masters multiple times and will be making his 18th Masters start. The 2008 Georgia graduate won the 2012 Masters after a thrilling playoff with Louis Oosthuizen. Then, like many greats such as Scottie Scheffler, Arnold Palmer, Phil Mickelson and Jack Nicklaus, Watson earned his second victory two years after his first when he won in 2014 by three strokes over Jonas Blixt and Jordan Spieth. Watson played for the Bulldogs in 2000 and 2001, helping Georgia win the 2000 SEC Championship.

Mason Howell

The future Bulldog is making his first Masters appearance after winning last year’s U.S. Amateur at The Olympic Club. The 18-year-old was a member of the United States National Junior Team, in which he represented his country in both the Walker Cup and Eisenhower Trophy. Howell also earned junior All-America honors in 2024 after finishing fifth in the Western Junior and Junior Players Championship. Howell is paired with 2025 Masters Champion Rory McIlroy and fellow American Cameron Young in Group 15 on Thursday morning.
